Robert Paul Early, 54, former resident of this city, died suddently at 2:30 a.m. Monday at his home in Dunnellon, FL. He had been ill for two weeks, but his death was unexpected. Mr. Early had lived in Dunnellon since his retirement four years ago but left here in 1947 for employment at Kingsport, Tenn. He remained there until his retirement in 1956, when he moved to Dunnellon. Born May 14, 1906 at Indianapolis, Mr. Early was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Early. He attneded Purdue University for a time and enrolled at Wabash College in1927. He was married March 24 1928 to Opal Fruits of Crawfordsville. While a resident of this city he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Wabash Ave Presbyterian Church. At Kingsport, he was made a lifetime deacon of the Kingsport Presbyterian Church. The survivors include the widow, two daughter, Mrs. Allen Johnson and Mrs. Floy Powers, both of this city and 5 grandchidren. Funeral Serivces will be held Thursday at Dunnellon Prebyterian Church with burial at Dunnellon. - kbz
